    Rob has lived in Suwanee since 2000, and currently lives in the Shadowbrook at Town Center neighborhood, where he lives with his wife Cathy.     Jimmy Burnette has served on City Council since 1996. A Suwanee native, he follows footsteps; James Burnette Sr. served as a City Councilmember for 32 years, from 1963-95. Burnette, who is self-employed as a remodeling contractor, hopes that others will see Suwanee as a great place to live.

    James has lived in Suwanee since 1991. He married in 1990 and has two children who both attend North Gwinnett High School. He joined the DDA in 2004. He is a member of the Cemetery Committee and served on the Downtown Master Plan Committee. He is currently Chairman of the North Gwinnett Parent Council. He is interested in the future development of Downtown Suwanee and the appropriate use of infill housing in the downtown area..
