Suwanee Creek Greenway
The Suwanee Creek Greenway is a hard-surface, multipurpose trail that meanders through four miles of wooded areas, wetlands, and wildlife habitat. The original trail was constructed in the early 1990s; a three-mile extension was opened in May 2004. The Greenway connects nearly 400 acres of parkland as well as residential and commercial areas, including Town Center.Walkers, joggers, bikers, rollerbladers, and others can access the trail at a variety of locations. The trail head is located at Suwanee Creek Park, 1170 Buford Highway. Other access points are:
- Near the Suwanee Sports Academy at 3640 Burnette Road
- Martin Farm Park, about a half-mile west of Satellite Boulevard
- Suwanee Elementary School, on weekends and after 4 p.m. during the week
- George Pierce Park, near the soccer and back softball fields
- Shadowbrook at Town Center
